Universal Translator
============
LSL Code by Hank Ramos
PHP Code by Panthar Orlowski
Translations provided by http://translate.google.com

About
====
The Universal Translator is a device that dynamically translates public chat so that people in Second Life can communicate more easily through language barriers. It is designed to require no interaction other than to speak freely in your native language. Nothing could be easier!

Instructions
========
Translations are automatically performed as you publically chat within 20m of the Universal Translator. If somebody participating in the translated chat speaks a different language, they receive an Instant Message with the translation of your chat into their native language.

Important Points:
*Instant messages from the translator show up as public chat, but in a different color.
*There is no need for complex commands or any action on your part other than to speak in your native language.
*Only people who have chosen to participate in the translated chat will have their text translated or will see your translated text.
*People in the list that speak your native language will not see the translations.
*Please speak in the language that you specified, as speaking in other langauges besides the one selected will confuse the translator and others around you.

To leave the translation, to change your language selection, or for help and other options, simply touch the Universal Translator. When you leave the 20m radius around the Universal Translator, you are automatically removed from the translation list within a few moments.

Administrator Options
==============
Reset Script -- Resets both scripts in the unit in case there is a problem
Group ON -- Allows people that have the same group title as the machine to Reset and configure Scanning
Group OFF -- Disallows group members from using admin options
Scan ON -- Scans the local area every 60 seconds and looks for people that haven't been asked what language they speak so they can be added to the translation chat. If somebody leaves the chat, it doesn't ask them again until some time later
Scan OFF -- Turns off Scanning

Manual Translation
=============
If you wish, you can have the translator chat out into public text that you say to any language. Simply say the text you want to say on channel #123 along with the two-digit code for the target language. The system will expect you to speak in the language that you chose. For example, if you chose English as your spoken language and you wish to say something in English and have it translated out to public chat in Spanish, type...

/123es Hello everyone out there in Second Life!

The following two-digit language codes are avaialable...
en = English
es = Spanish
fr = French
de = German
it = Italian
pt = Portuguese
ar = Arabic
ja = Japanese
ko = Korean
cn = Chinese
