Educators' Coop [2] The Educators Coop (Co-op) is a research project conducted by Leslie Jarmon and Joe Sanchez at the University of Texas at Austin. The Educators Coop began as a residential community for educators in Second Life hosted on a single island in July 2007. In July 2008 the Educators Coop became a project of the non-profit Educators Virtual Research Group and expanded to five islands (4 full sims and one Open sim).
