SimTeach is a place for university instructional designers, faculty and administrators to find information and to share their own experiences designing, teaching and administering classes in immersive environments.

Jeremy W. Kemp manages the "simteach" domain and brand.

Kemp scripted the first built-in medical training assessment tools for Second Life in the spring of 2006. Over 20,000 avatars have visited his "Heart Murmur Sim" and left assessment data at five points in this proof-of-concept game. Kemp is a Stanford graduate where he assisted in building and evaluating online Dosimetry Flash modules for professional training in nuclear medicine. Currently, he is a lecturer in HCI and new media at San Jose State University.

He is also a doctoral student at Fielding Graduate University in Educational Leadership and Change focusing on technology acceptance in MUVE-based distance education. He and his wife Tracey had their second daughter Catherine in October, 2006
